I'm a girl, obviously. Perhaps I'm starting to migrate into the wondrous world of womanhood. Though as I step through the door of womanhood, I'm feeling a slight sense of confusion. What does being a woman entail? In fact, what does being a girl mean? What is expected of me, as a girl, a woman, a female etc? I don't really desire to spend countless hours tending to the male species by supplying them with a clean house and a dinner not made in the convenient microwave but from scratch! Love is a place. I've never been there. I've never passed any road signs telling me how many miles away it was or which exit I should take. I've never circled it on a map with a red sharpie or looked for the best route on how to get there. I've never walked by a travel agent who was promoting it's amazing deals for a getaway to love.
